Journey Through the Archive

Inspiration & Rediscovery
Drifting in the In-Between Space of Creation
As the ferry glides away from the shore, cutting through the hush of morning light, a quiet transition takes hold. A journey through memory & movement, looking back to move forward. This is where the next collection begins, not in the studio, but in the echoes of seasons past. Inspiration drifts across the water, along the docks, to the ocean’s edge, revisiting past collections, uncovering details once forgotten, & gathering what will shape what’s to come. Silhouettes once dreamt into existence are rediscovered, waiting to be reimagined.

Dockside Nostalgia
Echoes of the Past, Reimagined
The dock is quiet, but the moment is alive. Pages ruffle in the breeze, fabric shifts with the wind, and the water gently presses against the wood. Sunlight spills across the planks, casting a soft glow over notebooks, swatches, and fragments of past collections. Photographs, faded at the edges, sit beside sketches drawn with intention. Each piece is a whisper from seasons past, asking to be remembered. Here, inspiration lingers softly, an echo of what was, shaping what’s to come.
Looking Back, Moving Forward
Tracing What Was, Shaping What’s Next
Some pieces remain with us. Their shape, their texture, the way they hold memory. Returning to the archive is an act of noticing. What lingers. What quietly asks to be seen again. By the water, light flickers, fabric shifts with the breeze, & moments pass gently, & with them, familiar forms take on new meaning. The past is not something to repeat but to be reinterpreted in new silhouettes, softened textures, & evolving forms.

From the Sea to the Studio
Where Past & Future Meet
Back in the studio, the echoes of the journey remain. The scent of salt, the weight of sketches, the imprint of wind-swept fabrics. Inspiration gathered along the way now takes shape. Draping begins, stitches meet fabric, past silhouettes inform new constructions. The collection unfolds like the tide, pulled by memory, shaped by movement, carrying forward all that was learned along the way.
This is the in-between space where past & future meet, stitched into something entirely new.
